Maintenance Scheduling Options in Revela
Revela has multiple maintenance scheduling options that can be utilized by your business, depending on the circumstance. Two of the most useful scheduling options available are the Schedule and Put on Hold features.
Schedule Feature
Selecting Actions > Schedule on a maintenance ticket allows users to select a defined date and time that they are scheduled to travel to a property and perform work. Appointments can be assigned to in-house maintenance staff and third-party vendors alike so long as they are assigned to a work order.

When creating an appointment schedule, you will have the ability to:
- Select a Date and Time for the Appointment
- Define an Appointment Window
- Notify the resident and/or owner of the property about the appointment, if applicable
Once the appointment has been created, the user assigned to complete work will receive a confirmation email. Additionally, they will receive a reminder notification the day before the appointment. Please find an example of this notification below:

Put on Hold Feature
For scenarios in which work for a property is delayed (e.g. you are waiting for a part to be delivered, scheduling conflicts, etc.), you have the ability to place that work order on hold for a period of time. Once the Put on Hold status for the work order expires, you have the ability to select the status you would like the ticket to be placed into for reevaluation upon the expiration date. Assigned employees will receive a notification once the Put on Hold status has expired.

Status Filtering on the Maintenance Dashboard
On the Maintenance Dashboard, users have the ability to filter existing maintenance tickets by any of the following statuses at any time:
- Open
- On Hold
- Scheduled
- In Progress
- Closed
